If you need a little extra heat in your life, why not start with chocolate?
The richness of chocolate pairs perfectly with the kick of spice. Ideal recipe for keeping you warm this winter! This is a "spicy" version of hot chocolate with pink pepper and red chili pepper. Try it!
- 1 cup milk
- 50 gr dark chocolate chips
- half a vanilla pod (torn in half)
- 1 red chili pepper (cut in half and without seeds)
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 4-5 grain pink pepper (crushed)
In a small pot add milk, the vanilla pod, cinnamon and red chili pepper. Heat but don't let boil. Add the chocolate chips and stir. Remove from heat and set aside for a couple of minutes. Remove spices and serve in a cup. Sprinkle a few grains crushed pink peppers.
